Summer
Day Camps

Learn to fence over five focused days. Each summer we run both a Beginners' camp and a Competitive Épée camp — instruction, conditioning, drilling and full-scoring bouting.

Both camps run five days, 12:30–4:00 PM, with several hours each day devoted to actual fencing using competition weapons and electronic scoring.

New

Beginners' Day Camp

July 13 – 17, 2026

For those who are new, or nearly new, to fencing. Each session blends instruction, conditioning, drilling and bouting. All necessary equipment is supplied if the participant has none.

Instruction covers a concise history of the sport, an introduction to the weapons and rules, technique and tactics, proper grip and stance, footwork and the strategy of modern Olympic-style fencing — a strong grounding for further growth.

Épée

Competitive Épée Camp

June 8 – 12, 2026

For fencers who have trained for some time (typically at least a year) but not yet at a high competitive level — unrated, E-rated or D-rated. Participants are assumed to own their own equipment.

This intermediate camp reinforces the basics while introducing and practicing more advanced techniques and strategies to sharpen competitive readiness.
